Horse Training

All aspects of horsemanship training can be covered at Brynglas Equine, from dealing with behavioural issues such as non-loaders, farrier problems, handling issues right through to starting and schooling. We specialise in confidence issues both on the ground and ridden and address problems such as spooky horses, nappy horses and horses which do not stand still at the mounting block.

By using a range of force free horsemanship techniques, behavioural, training and handling issues can be addressed and resolved. Helping you to develop and build a trusting relationship with your horse and using achievable, incremental goals to allows issues to be overcome.

Groundwork and longlining skills can be taught to owners or if you have a specific ridden problem or just require some general schooling this can be incorporated into a tailored training programme for you and your
horse.

Training plans look to address both horse and owner issues with the owner being given both the confidence and skills necessary to continue to progress. Post training support is always available.

If as a group you would like to learn or refine your groundwork skills, look at training for obstacles or learn to longline a clinic may be the best option and allow specific needs to be accommodated.

“I needed help with my Welsh Cob. Ann-Marie was extremely friendly, explained everything very well and I was impressed with the results we achieved with my horse. It was a very interesting and rewarding session. I have already recommended Ann-Marie to several of my friends.”
